Day 1
After leaving nervous parents behind, the children have enjoyed the air conditioned journey to the D Day Museum. Catching the 5pm ferry for an additional thrill.
After dinner of sausage and mash followed by yummy chocolate brownies, the children have some time to explore their accomodation before getting ready for their first night away.
Day 2
After a busy first day the children woke from a really good sleep ready to embrace the day ahead.
Today the children enjoyed a morning of animal encounters: with rainforest wildlife, with lively presentations on species such as red pandas and sloths.
At Blackgang Chine this afternoon, children joined in games, role-play, and interactive trails tied to subjects like history, geology, and creative writing, using park resources. Both venues emphasised their community and conservation commitments—Amazon World as a registered charity supporting rainforest preservation, and Blackgang Chine as a partner of Isle of Wight charity WightAid.

After a busy day, the children spent some time relaxing, exploring or playing on the beach. Everyone was tired but happy...it was a nice way to end the day.
Day 3
Today the children enjoyed a fun-filled day exploring some of the Iisland's top attractions.
The morning began at Tapnell Farm, where they met friendly animals and enjoyed outdoor activities in the scenic countryside. From feeding goats to bouncing on jumping pillows, it was a hit with all ages!
In the afternoon, the group headed to Alum Bay for a glass-making demonstration. The children watched skilled artisans create colourful pieces and took time to admire the iconic Needles and sand cliffs.
The day ended on a high note with an evening show at Shanklin Theatre, bringing music, laughter, and entertainment to a packed audience. From farm life to fine craft and the performing arts, it was a day to remember on the island.
Day 4
After having the time of their lives at last night’s theatre show, the now very tired children have continued to enjoy their glamping experience, with fabulous accommodation, friendly staff, and superb food. Today they visted Robin Hill Country Adventure Park and Carisbrooke Castle ahead of tomorrow morning's visit to Godshill Model Village before the journey home.
